Fettuccine Alfredo
Ingredients:
- 1 pint 40% heavy whipping cream
- ¼ cup butter
- ¼ teaspoon each nutmeg and garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 oz. bag of finely shredded parmesan or Italian blend cheese
- 1 package (1 pound) fettuccine, cooked according to package directions
Directions:
Mix the first three ingredients in a medium saucepan until the butter has melted. Add additional salt and pepper, if needed. Slowly add cheese to mixture until melted reserving enough to sprinkle on individual servings. Add to fettuccine noodles.
NOTE: Sauce will thicken as it cools.
Serves 4-5 people
